Once the work started Alan and his guys arrived consistently at 8am and were very professional in all aspects.

The work consisted of supporting a first floor with steel. The work was carried out to a high standard. At the end of the work the area was left tidy.

Alan and Gary have completed a patio and lawn, kitchen and hall way alterations and sorted out a longstanding leak in the roof of the garage conversion. They have worked really hard. Work comprised building a porch with new front door, windows and lighting. Alan was reliable, worked hard and conscientiously, was easy to communicate with, selected materials that complemented the original building, and was generally skilled in all aspects.

Alan and Gaz have just completed all the works on my house: boarded up the loft, garage conversion and the garden fencing extended with a patio. They have done an excellent job with all aspects of the work, which is only surpassed by their professionalism, friendliness and great communication skills.

After being provided with a very competitive quote, there was a slight delay with the planning permissions. Alan was available to go through any queries and when we got the permission, provided me with a near start date. Again we met up to discuss the project with Alan allowing me to make various changes throughout. We added on odd jobs throughout which was no problem. The whole project was completed in 3 weeks to a very high standard. We are extremely pleased with the results and will use Alan as the first point of call for our next project.

The work was started on time and carried out to a high standard. Every effort was made to control the dust from the demolition of the wall and the work area was left clean and tidy at the end of each day.

All building, plumbing, electrical and tiling work was carried out to a high standard and I would have no hesitation in recommending Parkes Building and Construction and will use them again in the future should I require further building works carried out at my property.

Alan is very personable, knowledgeable, punctual, reliable and honest. He is conscientious in his work and is skilled in many trades. The quality of his work is excellent – he has completed a wide range of tasks from brick work to patio laying, carpentry, plastering, tiling, plumbing and decorating. We have found that Alan discusses work before and during, to find the most suitable option for you and to ensure you have the desired end result. We can’t recommend him more highly.

Alan has completed some plastering, fitted a door and a new stair rail. He has also fitted lights and corrected some electrical wiring insulation for me, along with minor work such as fitting coat hooks and hanging mirrors. I have found Alan to be extremely professional in his approach, reliable and trustworthy. His work is of an extremely high standard and his advice is sound. I am very happy to recommend him and shall be using him for more work in the Spring.
