He has also fitted lights and corrected some electrical wiring insulation for me, along with minor work such as fitting coat hooks and hanging mirrors. I have found Alan to be extremely professional in his approach, reliable and trustworthy. His work is of an extremely high standard and his advice is sound. We have been very pleased with the service we have received from Parkes Building and Construction. Alan Parkes arrived on time to assess the job and we received his quote, as promised, in 24 hours. The quote was accepted and a start date agreed.
The work was started on time and carried out to a high standard. Every effort was made to control the dust from the demolition of the wall and the work area was left clean and tidy at the end of each day.

Multiple jobs
Alan and Gaz have just completed all the works on my house: boarded up the loft, garage conversion and the garden fencing extended with a patio. They have done an excellent job with all aspects of the work, which is only surpassed by their professionalism, friendliness and great communication skills.
After being provided with a very competitive quote, there was a slight delay with the planning permissions. Alan was available to go through any queries and when we got the permission, provided me with a near start date. Again we met up to discuss the project with Alan allowing me to make various changes throughout. We added on odd jobs throughout which was no problem. The whole project was completed in 3 weeks to a very high standard. We are extremely pleased with the results and will use Alan as the first point of call for our next project.

Front porch build (confirmed) plus future extension

kitchen/downstairs alterations
Alan and Gary have completed a patio and lawn, kitchen and hall way alterations and sorted out a longstanding leak in the roof of the garage conversion. They have worked really hard. They are pleasant, reliable, tidy builders. They have worked with consideration and flexibility, we could not have asked for better and we would thoroughly recommend them. Steelwork to support first floor
We have been very pleased with the service we have received from Parkes Building. Alan arrived when promised to assess the job and following this the quote arrived very quickly and was very clear. Once the work started Alan and his guys arrived consistently at 8am and were very professional in all aspects.
The work consisted of supporting a first floor with steel. The work was carried out to a high standard. At the end of the work the area was left tidy.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Parkes Building and Construction and will have no hesitation in using them again in the future.
